Jiu-jitsu for kids 4 to 13: structured classes that build focus and confidence, and teach them how to handle a bully without throwing a punch. Your child's first class is free.

Is it right for your child?
- Kids 4 to 13. Teens 14 and up move to our adult BJJ and No-Gi classes.
- Kids who have a hard time listening or sitting still. Class gives them clear rules, short drills and one coach to follow.
- Shy kids who need the confidence to speak up and stand tall.
- Kids who need to burn off energy away from a screen. No sports background or coordination needed.
What a kids class looks like
Warm-up
Movement games that get kids rolling, crawling and learning to fall safely.
Technique
A coach shows one skill at a time, like an escape, a hold or how to stand up safely, and the kids copy it step by step.
Drilling
Partners take turns with kids their own size while coaches walk the mat and correct.
Games
Class ends with games built on the day's skill, so the repetition feels like play.

What parents notice
- Focus and self-control
- Kids learn to listen to a coach, wait their turn and keep their hands to themselves. Those habits carry into school and home.
- Confidence they earned
- Every new skill is a small win. Kids learn that steady work pays off, and shy kids start to speak up.
- Anti-bullying and safety
- We teach kids to stay calm, use their words and walk away first, and how to protect themselves if there is no other way.
- Fitness that feels like play
- Class is packed with drills and games, so kids get a real workout and sleep well that night.

Kids Martial Arts questions
What age can my child start?
Our kids program is for ages 4 to 13. Teens 14 and up join the adult BJJ and No-Gi classes.
Will martial arts make my child more aggressive?
No. Jiu-jitsu has its roots in self-defense, and we teach kids that violence is not the answer to their problems. They learn to stay calm and avoid a fight, and to protect themselves only when there is no other way.
My child isn't very coordinated. Will they get hurt?
Our coaches work with kids of all abilities and ages. Your child learns at a pace that is comfortable for them, and physical safety comes first in every class.
My child doesn't like sports. Will they like this?
Some kids are unsure at first. Class is active and full of games, and most kids think learning martial arts is cool, which helps them stick with it when it gets hard.
Can it help with focus at school?
Training teaches focus, discipline, self-control and respect. Kids practice paying attention to a coach every class, and those are the same skills they need in school.
